No Longer Home: A Heartfelt Adventure Game

No Longer Home is a touching adventure game developed by Humble Grove for Nintendo Switch. The game follows the story of Bo and Ao, two queer, non-binary students living in South London. They are preparing to leave their flat after living together for a year. Unfortunately, due to visa limitations, Ao has to return to Japan, leaving Bo behind in England. Both are struggling to come to terms with their uncertain futures.

As you wander through the intimate flat shared by Bo and Ao, you can examine their everyday belongings, have BBQs, play video games, and stay up late talking in bed. You can also follow their day-to-day activities and conversations with their friends, including Lu, their new multi-eyed, animal-like flatmate.

No Longer Home is a personal project that explores the emotions of saying goodbye. The developers, Hana and Cel, were inspired to create the game after they were forced apart after university. The game is a beautiful and heartfelt exploration of relationships and the struggles of post-educational life.
